It is not too late to welcome you into the new year. Welcome to 2024; it's great to have you on board. I hope you made good use of 2023; I know some of us started new jobs, travelled outside of our country, got married, bought our first car/house, made our first million, or gave birth. I know numerous things can be mentioned; however, the first thing to do is to thank God for life.
Last December, I dedicated the entire month to a 31-day gratitude challenge. It was a beautiful one, reflecting on everything the Lord had done for me throughout the year. When we count our blessings, we realize there is much to be grateful for. The ride was not without its challenges, but it was worthwhile because each new day presented an opportunity to improve and learn new things.

You may not have achieved all of your goals, but you can start the year on a positive note. Try something new this year; despite my hectic schedule last year, I learned two foreign languages: French and Spanish. I also intend to learn the violin this year, something I was unable to devote time to last year. You do not have to be so hard on yourself, take things step by step.
You are a work in progress; so always remember how important it is to acquire the skills you need for your relationships, business, ministry, and career. Learn about topics ranging from personal development, emotional intelligence, finance, health and mental well-being, physical activity, and healthy eating. This year, we must make a conscious effort to live a wholesome lifestyle; it won't come cheap or easily, but it will pay off in the long run.
This is a message for you and me: don't be afraid to start big; it doesn't have to be small. I'm sure we all have words for the year
and ideas about how we want it to turn out. However, it all begins with our
mindset; we must be willing to let go of a negative mindset and anything that
fuels a complaining lifestyle. We are one of the determining factors in how the
year will turn out; if you believe in God, then he has provided for all your
needs.
Let us consider this beautiful illustration that I have heard several times: as a father or mother, would you give your two-year-old or 25-year-old child who does not know how to drive your car key so they can drive because you are too tired to drive? No, but can you give a car key to your 25-year-old child who knows how to drive and is confident that they will get you to your destination? I said all of this to demonstrate that we must grow internally and, more importantly, be skillful.
I want us to know that it is never too late to entrust our journey to the one who can carry us and keep us relevant, like a tree planted by the river. This year will be full of discoveries and achievements. The decision is entirely yours; choose wisely. I love you.
Cheers to an outstanding you! You are the real MVP, and I'm rooting for you.
